BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The HNI Board of Trustees is an elected group of parent and staff representatives (plus the Principal) who govern the school.

BOT governs the school whilst the Principal manages the day to day running of the school. The Board is the Crown entity responsible for the governance of the school.

The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the school, overseeing the management of personnel, property, finance and administration. It is the Board’s responsibility to deal with employment matters referred to them by the Principal as well as ensuring the school communicates effectively with the community.

BOT Meetings are held twice per term in the staff room.  
In general these meetings will be open to the public and only under certain circumstances will the meeting move "into committee".

A copy of the meeting minutes and school policies are available to view at the school office.
Any communication to the Board of Trustees can be made through the school office.
