Uniform
It is an expectation of Havelock North Intermediate School that the standard of neat and tidy presentation will be maintained at all times. Correct school uniform is to be worn at all times including sports uniform.
Students are not permitted to wear or display the following:
- Clothing that is torn, dirty or without buttons
- Nail polish or make-up
- Jewellery, other than the following items:
- Wristwatches
- Small, unobtrusive ear-studs (one per ear lobe only permitted)
- Piercing no forms of piercing other than the ear lobe are permitted. This includes:
nose, tongue, eye, lip or any other type of body piercing.
- Hair styles and/or clothing that are fashion statements.
- A maximum of TWO hairclips may be worn
- Black or green hair-ties are permissible
Note:
If there are differences in interpretation of the above, the school reserves the right to make the final decision on an individual basis to what is permissible. |
