2nd March, 2010 Dear Parents, Caregivers and Friends of the School, Thank you for the high turn out at our recent Meet the Teacher evening. Communication between caregivers and school is very important particularly at the start of the year. I hope you found value in these meetings. Our HNI Swimming Championships evening was again a great success. I congratulate Nepia House on their overall victory. The 2010 swimming champions are featured in this newsletter – well done to all of you. We are currently selecting our School Leaders. This process involves staff and students. I have been very impressed with the quality of the applicants and do not envy those who must make the final selection. Our House Captains for 2010 will be presented with their badges at our assembly on Thursday 4th March. Our Sports Captains, Class Councillors and Forum Members will be announced in Week 7. Please note that the Primary Teachers Union meeting advised for Thursday 18th March has now been postponed. This will now be a normal school day.
