Electronics & Control Technology

Students working in the field of electronics will focus on developing a product incorporating an electronic circuit. The aim is to develop their understanding of the technological process and increase their technological knowledge. Students will construct a simple night light and in doing so will gain an understanding of the skills associated with electronics, such as drawing and interpreting circuit diagrams, developing an understanding of electronic compnents and their functions, soldering, circuit construction and fault finding. Students will test and trial their circuits before constructing and packaging thier circuits.
